2014 - M. Fraser Stair Cleaning
The first chapter of our story began with M. Fraser Stair Cleaning, established in 2014 and focused on serving the Leith and Portobello areas of Edinburgh. From the outset, the company built a strong reputation for reliability and quality service, steadily expanding through word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied customers in these coastal communities.
2017 - I&B Stair Cleaning
Three years later, I&B Stair Cleaning was founded in 2017, specializing in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh. This second company brought its own approach to tenement cleaning, building an equally impressive reputation for attention to detail and customer service. Both companies thrived independently, each developing their own loyal customer base and expertise.
2019 - Capital Stair Services is Born
Recognizing the strength that could come from combining their expertise and resources, the owners of both companies shared a common vision for the future. In 2019, M. Fraser Stair Cleaning and I&B Stair Cleaning merged to form Capital Stair Services Ltd. This strategic partnership pooled their combined experience, customer relationships, and local knowledge to create a more comprehensive service across Edinburgh.
2020 - New Leadership, Greater Ambitions
In 2020, our ambitious current managing director joined the team, bringing fresh perspectives and strategic vision to lead the company's continued growth. Under this new leadership, Capital Stair Services has expanded its operations throughout the entirety of Edinburgh and beyond, becoming the city's most trusted and comprehensive tenement cleaning service.
Today - Serving Over 800 Tenements
We now service over 800 tenements throughout Edinburgh and surrounding areas: Gorgie, Dalry, Leith, Musselburgh, Portobello, Southside, Central, New Town, Old Town and more. The merger of our founding companies' expertise has allowed us to become one of the most highly recommended professional cleaning companies in Edinburgh, combining local knowledge with city-wide coverage.
